The Netcomm NB9WMAXXn is a full-featured Integrated Access Device and is the successor to the NB9WMAXX. The NB9WMAXXn has all the same great features of the previous model but now features N-Wireless capability, allowing for very high speed wireless for supporting devices. It is an ADSL2+ Modem, Wireless Router and VoIP adaptor all in one, meaning a reduction in the number of devices needed to use these services. It is provided with Adam ADSL services.


The modem has a series of lights on the front to indicate the status of the unit at any given time.

| Off | AdamTalk VoIP Phone is not in use. | |
| WLAN | On | Modem is broadcasting wireless LAN. |
| Flashing | Data is being transmitted over the wireless LAN. | |
| Off | Modem is not broadcasting wireless. | |
| Line | On | PSTN Pass-through Phone is picked up. |
| Off | PSTN Pass-through Phone is hung up. | |
| ADSL | On | ADSL Sync Success. |
| Flashing | ADSL Training. | |
| Off | No ADSL signal, check phone line is connected. | |
| Internet | Flashing | Data is being downloaded or uploaded over the Internet. |
| Off | No ADSL Authentication. | |
| Red | Failed ADSL Authentication. |
